Chloe Domont is an upcoming screenwriter/director currently studying at the Tisch School of The Arts of New York University in the Maurice Kanbar Institute of Film & Television. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California she interned for many different film companies before the age of eighteen. Some of these include, Gold Circle Films, Asylum Entertainment and Media Trust. Before attending film school, her first film Disconnected, which she wrote and starred in, was the official selection of the Los Angeles Short Film Festival of 2006. Since then, she has written and directed three short films, one following the making of The Continuing and Lamentable Saga of The Suicide Brothers, starring Keira Knightley and Rupert Friend. Chloe has also completed three polished feature-length screenplays and two half-hour pilots. Along with writing and directing, she has starred in the feature film, On The Doll, which was the official selection at the Cinequest Film Festival, Avignon Film Festival, Austin Film Festival and Ft. Lauderdale International Film Festival of 2008. Chloe is focused on writing and directing stories that explore the raw aspects of coming of age and loss of innocence in both comedy and drama.
